1.1 Direct Transact’s systems are regularly enhanced and updated to comply with the regulations of the South African National Payment System, as well as all international payment standards, including those of Visa, MasterCard and the Payment Cards Industry Data Security Standards.
1.2 All development and enhancements to Direct Transact systems plus the implementation of any new systems are strictly controlled according to Direct Transact’s Change Control Policy.
1.3 The Direct Transact Card-Based Transaction Switching System is certified as EMV and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) compliant.

2.1 Direct Transact has a Disaster Recovery site in Johannesburg, which is annually tested and audited by a team of external auditors.
2.2 Direct Transact considers security and compliance extremely important. Not only does it ensure the integrity of our customer’s data and protects the financial details of an individual, it also portrays trust in Direct Transact, its systems and staff.
2.3 Direct Transact is constantly reviewing its systems and processes to ensure that it stays abreast of the latest technology and other related International trends as far as systems security and compliance is concerned. Online Business Systems, an international company with head offices in Canada, is Direct Transact’s Qualified Security Assessor.
